My passion for the sky was born June 15 , 1972 along with me. In 1987 i came into accidentally possession of a copy of the magazine “Astronomy ” and some books, including the beautiful ” variable stars ” of Leonida Rosino . Since then I have not stopped to look at the sky , at first with the naked eye then for many years with 10×50 binoculars and then with various instruments used primarily in visual mode. For some years , ie since 2005 , attracted to the celestial images , the expression of a very special encounter between art and science, I stepped up to the photographic work inspired styles, different authors, but always trying (not always succeeding indeed ) , of put the technique especially being processed at the service of a yield possibly not artificial of a sky so that it can show its ” true nature ” as well as possibly preserve intact its enormous charm.
Most of my shooting has been make near on my hometown Viterbo (Lazio), even though I had the good fortune to enjoy for very short periods of the heavens of famous Italian sites ( Forca Canapine , Monte Labro , Del Col Nivolet Island Giglio ) and foreign ( Austrian alps , Swiss , Egypt, Corsica) . In addition to spending a few hours when I can (unfortunately not always ) in the company of the stars , I like strumming guitar and piano, although I prefer to compose music even more especially with regard to the testuale. Also I try to investigate both the thought belonging to various religions, above all , spiritual paths related to Tibetan Buddhism , finding in synergy with the ” make heaven” a constant reminder of our existence because …
